100th Bomb Group veterans visit RAF Mildenhall, former World War II bases
A plaque commemorating those who served as part of the 390th Bombardment Group (Heavy) who gave their lives between 1943 and 1945 is on display May 10, 2017, at the Parham Airfield Museum, near Framlingham, Suffolk. World War II veterans from the 100th Bombardment Group (Heavy), their families and other members of the 100th BG Foundation visited RAF Mildenhall and and toured former East Anglian World War II bases including Thorpe Abbots, Horham and Rattlesden.
