USAFE to CENTCOM, 100th ARW Airmen provide vital DoD support

Airmen from the Bloody Hundredth provided vital support for the movement of Department of Defense assets for Operation Octave Quartz, including the relocation of U.S. forces in Somalia. During the deployment, 100th Air Refueling Wing aircraft and Airmen offloaded 2.29 million pounds of fuel to 228 receivers and conducted more than 47 missions for a total of 258.8 hours.
