From mortgage broker to military: 100th ARW historian tells how 9/11 steered him back to Army
Rob Paley, 100th Air Refueling Wing historian, is responsible for chronicling the official history of the 100th ARW and works closely with the 100th Bomb Group Museum at Thorpe Abbotts, Diss, Norfolk, which holds the heritage of the Bloody Hundredth. The historian graduated from West Point in 1989 and served four years on active duty. He recommissioned in the military after 9/11 after an eight-year break in service so he could once again serve his country. (U.S. Air Force photo by Karen Abeyasekere)
