100th ARW participates in readiness exercise
A firefighter assigned to the 100th Civil Engineer Squadronclimbs a ladder to reach the wing of a KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft during a simulated aircraft mishap at Royal Air Force Mildenhall, England, Nov. 4, 2021. The aircraft mishap simulated the aircraft skidding along the runway due to a nose landing gear failure, allowing emergency service personnel the opportunity to practice how they would respond in case of a real life incident.
