RAFM firefighters conduct confined-space training to sharpen skills
A simulated casualty lays at the bottom of a facility as part of confined space training for 100th Civil Engineer Squadron firefighters at Royal Air Force Mildenhall, England, April 14, 2022. The training scenario was that a teenager (simulated by a mannequin) was playing and climbing down inside the building to check it out, when he fell and injured himself. In the scenario, a firefighter climbed down to rescue the casualty but slipped on a broken step, sustained injuries, and also had to be rescued. (U.S. Air Force photo by Karen Abeyasekere)
