RAFM firefighters conduct confined-space training to sharpen skills
Firefighter Eddie Brant, 100th Civil Engineer Squadron Fire Department, fits an extraction harness onto a simulated victim during confined space training at Royal Air Force Mildenhall, England, April 14, 2022. The exercise scenario involved a teenager (simulated by the mannequin) who fell and was injured after climbing down into an underground facility. Another firefighter simulated also falling after slipping on a broken step while climbing down to rescue the victim, so other firefighters from his team had to complete the rescue.
