447th Bomb Group family, friends visit Thorpe Abbotts as part of 'Return to Rattlesden' event

A memorial at Rattlesden, Suffolk, is dedicated to the men of the 447th Bomb Group and their supporting units in remembrance and gratitude of their fight in the cause of freedom from Rattlesden airfield, Station 126, 1943 to 1945. A ceremony was held at the memorial June 11, 2022, as part of the "Return to Rattlesden" event for family and friends of veterans, along with others involved with the 447th BG.
