U.S. Army Air Forces 2nd Lt. Robert “Bob” Wolff, fourth right, and his crew pose for a photo by a B-17 Flying Fortress training aircraft in the United States June 1, 1943. Wolff was a B-17 pilot with the 100th Bomb Group, Thorpe Abbotts, England, and along with his crew, was kept as a prisoner-of-war at Stalag Luft III, Germany, for approximately 18 months.
