Maj. Mark Watson, U.S. Air Forces in Europe-U.K. chief of plans, programs and international agreements, had just started his sophomore year at Rockwall High School, Texas, and had just got to art class Sept. 11, 2001, when he saw the television was on and showing news coverage of the first plane that struck one of the towers of the World Trade Center.
