100th AMXS de-ices aircraft, works to keep flights on schedule
U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Joshua Paladon, 100th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron electrical and environmental systems journeyman, sprays de-icing fluid on the tail wings of a KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft, Jan. 18, 2023, at Royal Air Force Mildenhall, England. De-icing is an important part of pre-flight procedures during cold weather to prevent aircraft accidents. To clarify though this aircraft has the Air Mobility Command painted on its tail it is now under the command of the 100th Air Refueling Wing.
