The Stars and Stripes flag flies at half staff at the 100th Bomb Group Memorial Museum, Thorpe Abbotts, England, Feb. 2, 2023, in honor of Staff Sgt. Al Arreola, World War II and 100th BG veteran, who passed away Feb. 1, 2023. Arreola was a 351st Bomb Squadron ball turret gunner based at Thorpe Abbotts during World War II and completed 35 missions during his time there.
