351st ARS flies high after earning Gen. Carl A. Spaatz Trophy for ‘Outstanding Air Refueling Squadron 2022’
The Gen. Carl A. Spaatz Trophy is displayed by a KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft after being awarded to the 351st Air Refueling Squadron for winning “Outstanding Air Refueling Squadron” and “Best in Air Force” at Royal Air Force Mildenhall, England, March 31, 2023. The squadron earned the prestigious trophy by proving themselves to be Number 1 out of 59 air refueling squadrons within the U.S. Air Force. The 351st ARS safeguarded and supported G7, G20 and NATO summits, Secretary of Defense and Secretary of State visits to Kyiv, 500 world leaders for the funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, and six President of the United States, Chief of Staff of the Air Force, and Chief Master Sgt. of the Air Force overseas visits.
