100th ARW hosts, refuels Hill AFB F-35's
U.S. Air Force F-35A Lightning II aircraft, assigned to the 388th Fighter Wing, Hill Air Force Base, Utah, sit on the flightline at Royal Air Force Mildenhall, England, July 24, 2023. The F-35A is an agile, versatile, high-performance, 9G-capable multi-role fighter that combines stealth, sensor fusion and unprecedented situational awareness. The 100th Air Refueling Wing is the only permanent U.S. air refueling wing in the European theater and provides a critical air refueling “bridge,” allowing the Expeditionary Air Force to deploy around the globe at a moment’s notice.
