RAFM ‘Dirt Boyz’ make CDC entrance safe, secure for pedestrian families, customers

New drop curbs and block paving pathway replace older curbs and pathways outside the child development center at Royal Air Force Mildenhall, England, Sept. 7, 2023. As part of a base initiative to increase safety for CDC families, U.S. Air Force Airmen from the 100th Civil Engineer Squadron Heavy Equipment and Pavements shop, otherwise known as the “Dirt Boyz,” put up new fencing, replace curbs and added a concrete mini hardstand for an additional 100th Security Forces Squadron entry control point to provide easier and safer access for those walking across the main road from base to the CDC gate.
