RAFM ‘Dirt Boyz’ make CDC entrance safe, secure for pedestrian families, customers
The new entry control point for child development center customers from the tri-base area, walking from on base across the street to drop off and pick up their children, sits on a concrete mini hardstand after being built by U.S. Air Force Airmen from the 100th Civil Engineer Squadron Heavy Equipment and Pavements shop, otherwise known as “Dirt Boyz,” at Royal Air Force Mildenhall, England, Sept. 7., 2023. The “Dirt Boyz,” also put up new fencing, replaced curbs and pathways in addition to the new ECP, to provide easier and safer access for those walking across the main road from base to the CDC gate.
