RAF Mildenhall Fire Dept 'Rookie Academy' slashes training program from 4 months to 3 week

U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Jeremiah Crawley, 100th Civil Engineer Squadron Fire Department firefighter rookie, gets helped into his decontamination training suit by fellow firefighters as part of the new “Rookie Academy” program at Royal Air Force Mildenhall, England, Aug. 27, 2024. The Rookie Academy is an intense training program where new rookie firefighters are trained together by different instructors within the fire department, so they learn equipment use and life-saving techniques the same way, rather than being split with different trainers.
