100th ARW legacy comes full circle as WWII veteran, Capt. Bob Wolff, returns ‘home’ to Thorpe Abbotts

Randy Wolff, left, and Jeffrey Paul Wolff, both grandsons of World War II and 100th Bomb Group veteran Capt. Robert “Bob” Wolff, stand by their grandfather’s ashes as they hold a flag presented to them by the RAF Mildenhall Honor Guard at Thorpe Abbotts, England, April 16, 2025. Capt. Wolff was a B-17 Flying Fortress pilot and passed away in October 2024 at age 103.
