The cabin of a KC-135 Stratotanker from the 100th Air Refueling Wing sits prepared for an aerial refueling mission as part of combat readiness inspection Skyway Chariot at Prestwick, Scotland, May 9, 2025. The inspection was intended to validate the 100th ARW’s ability to generate, employ, sustain, and project combat power in a highly contested environment. By operating out Prestwick, Scotland, Airmen practiced Agile Combat Employment concepts, decentralizing our forces to increase survivability, generate more military options for combined/joint force commanders, and create unpredictability to an adversary’s strategic decision making.
