100th ARW travels to Finland for Atlantic Trident 25
U.S. Air Force Capt. Christopher Cos, 351st Air Refueling Squadron pilot, performs a pre-flight inspection in support of exercise Atlantic Trident 25 at RAF Mildenhall, England, June 13, 2025. The primary purpose of a pre-flight inspection is to verify that the aircraft is in safe operating condition before the aircraft becomes airborne. Pilots look for any signs of mechanical issues, such as leaks, damaged components, or equipment malfunctions, which could pose safety risks during flight.
