100th BG legacy nose art, ‘Just-A-Snappin’ joins 100th ARW, Bloody Hundredth heritage
Steve Crosby, left, son of then-1st Lt. Harry Crosby, World War II and 100th Bomb Group navigator, and Jim Blakely, second left, hug after seeing the legacy nose art – “Just-A-Snappin” – honoring both of their fathers and the rest of the aircrew who flew on the B-17 Flying Fortress of the same name, as part of the Bremen mission during World War II, during the nose art unveiling ceremony at RAF Mildenhall, England, June 9, 2025. Just-A-Snappin is the latest addition to the 100th Air Refueling Wing nose art collection on the fleet of KC-135 Stratotankers, which honors the Bloody Hundredth legacy.
