Beyond the runway: 37 AS tests C-130J versatility in Iceland during NV26

A U.S. Air Force C-130J Super Hercules aircraft assigned to the 37th Airlift Squadron lands on a sand landing zone in Rømø, Denmark, during exercise Northern Viking 26, Aug. 25, 2026. Using austere landing zones gives Allied forces additional access points for rapidly moving personnel, equipment and supplies across the region.
