Base bids farewell to KC-135 Flagship Published June 3, 2010 By 010610 RAF MILDENHALL, Suffolk -- Members from the 100th Air Refueling Wing will gather to bid farewell to its Flagship, Aircraft 58-00100 Monday, June 7 at 4 p.m. on the flightline. The brief ceremony will consist of comments by Col. Manske, 100th ARW commander, historical memento presentations and a transfer of the Box D engine covers from the outgoing flagship to the incoming. The wing's flagship has flown 1,557 hours on 401 sorties offloading 140,390 gallons of fuel. Media interested in attending should meet at the Visitor Control Center on RAF Mildenhall at 2:45 pm.
