PRESS RELEASE: RAF Mildenhall Airman passes away after vehicle-related accident Published April 2, 2010 By 020410 RAF MILDENHALL, England -- Capt. Jenna Wilcox from the 100th Civil Engineer Squadron at RAF Mildenhall died April 1 at Western General Hospital in Edinburgh, Scotland following a vehicle-related accident in Dalkeith, Scotland March 27. Captain Wilcox suffered serious injuries when a tire exploded inside the vehicle. "We are deeply saddened by this tragedy," said Col. Chad Manske, 100th Air Refueling Wing commander. "Jenna was a valued member of our team and her untimely death touches all the personnel at the surrounding bases. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family, friends and co-workers during this difficult time." The cause of the explosion is currently under investigation by the Lothian and Borders Police in Scotland.
