Texas Air National Guardsmen train at RAF Mildenhall
Members of the 136th Airlift Wing, Texas Air National Guard, conducted annual vehicle maintenance training with the 100th Logistics Readiness Squadron at RAF Mildenhall July 20 – Aug. 2, 2019. Five guardsmen from different units across Dallas/Fort Worth came to RAF Mildenhall to train on special purpose equipment and upgrade their skill level throughout all of the 100 LRS vehicle maintenance shops.

Air Force One touches down at RAF Mildenhall
Air Force One, carrying President Donald J. Trump and a contingency of White House officials and media members, arrived at RAF Mildenhall for refueling and logistical support Feb. 26, 2019. Air Force One, along with a C-32, known as “Air Force Two” and an E-4B National Airborne Operations Center landed en route to Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam, for the president’s second summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un.

Female FARP member – Fuels gas and breaks barriers
Under complete darkness noises coming from every direction whirling around her, she focuses through the haze of her night vision goggles as she pulls more than 300 feet of heavy refueling hoses from one aircraft to another. Her face is full of sweat and her heart pounds, as a CV-22 Osprey hovers as it prepares to land before her.

AGE Airmen: No airpower without ground power
Walking onto the flightline, the hum of the generators is all you hear over the conversation between pilots and mechanics. The small battery on wheels powers a 49 ton aircraft and prepares KC-135 Stratotankers to fuel the mission across Europe and Africa.
