  • 100th MXG Airmen conduct ISO inspection on KC-135

    RAF MILDENHALL, England – The KC-135 Stratotanker first flew for the U.S. Air Force in August 1956, and it continues to be a vital part of the Air Force’s arsenal to this day. Although the KC-135s of the 100th Air Refueling Wing have seen plenty of years, with the teamwork of several different shops within the 100th Maintenance Squadron and Aircraft Maintenance Squadron it keeps flying for years to come. One method of keeping the KC-135 operational is an isochronal inspection, or ISO inspection.

    Two KC-135 Stratotanker refueling aircraft from the 100th Air Refueling Wing, from RAF Mildenhall, England, have returned from Naval Station Rota, Spain, following support of Operation Juniper Micron.

  • BALTOPS 2017 Kicks Off

    Exercise BALTIC OPERATIONS (BALTOPS) is underway in the Baltic Sea region until 16 June. Air, maritime, and ground assets from several NATO Allies and Partner Nations are involved in the live training event that started from Szczecin, Poland and finishes in Kiel, Germany.
