    Tech. Sgt. Steven Izaguirre, 100th Maintenance Squadron NCO-in-charge of the Non-Destructive Inspections Section, won the Team Mildenhall Innovation of the Quarter Award for the first quarter of 2019. As part of the NDI team, Izaguirre and his Airmen inspect aircraft parts to ensure they are anatomically sound, free of cracks and defects.

  • Bloody Hundredth wraps up UEI with Highly Effective

    The 100th Air Refueling Wing successfully completed its Unit Effectiveness Inspection here on Feb. 8 with a score of “Highly Effective”. The U.S. Air Forces in Europe and Air Forces Africa Inspector General team visited RAF Mildenhall Feb. 4 to 8, and evaluated the 100th ARW in four major areas: managing resources, leading people, improving the unit, and executing the mission. Installations are graded on a four-tier scale: highly effective, effective, marginally effective and ineffective.

Electronic warfare is comprised of jamming communication systems, and electronic support protection tactics, such as infrared homing to distract missiles. The mission of the 95th Reconnaissance Squadron at RAF Mildenhall focuses on support, collecting intelligence and data.

    Team Mildenhall Airmen have the opportunity to test their physical fitness skills with a new Alpha Warrior obstacle course, the ‘battle station,’ at the Northside Fitness Center. The Alpha Warrior program is an initiative established by the Air Force Services Activity. The program is designed to enhance Airmen’s physical fitness.
