100th Air Refueling Wing Public Affairs
1/18/2011 - RAF MILDENHALL, England -- As the week comes to an end, many people find they have more time over the weekend to do things they may not have the time to do during their weekly work schedule.
For some, that means cooking up a nice barbecue or other tasty meal.
But why just maintain the status quo and continue cooking those same old recipes?
Look, Americans and Britons alike are fortunate to be from lands of overwhelming diversity. On any city block in either nation, a pedestrian will pass by more different races and cultures than they could possibly count on their hands - or feet!
Why not tap into one another's scrumptious cuisines?
Going forward, the 100th Air Refueling Wing Public Affairs office hopes to populate its public website with periodic recipes, which they intend to solicit from base readers, local community members, and pretty much anyone with a recipe they wish to share.
Public Affairs is not just looking for complete meal ideas, send them anything that you typically cook at home (appetizers, sauces or dips, specialty non-alcoholic drinks, or even a complete meal). Send them to marauder@mildenhall.af.mil.
