Unit: 100th Force Support Squadron

Duty Title: Non-commissioned Officer in Charge, Readiness and Plans

Time in Service: 12 years

Time at Mildenhall: 6 months

Hometown: Atlanta, Minn.

Core Value Portrayed: Excellence in all we do

Hobbies: Saltwater Aquariums

How does the individual portray that core value?
TSgt Nicaise sets the standard in his work area, for his section and the entire squadron, said Master Sgt. Charles Williams.  During a recent incident Nicaise came in on his off-time to read Air Force Instructions to ensure he was managing the incident properly. We need more Airmen to be experts in their fields. If asked, he will tell you he was "Just doing his job."

Why is serving in the Air Force important to you?
Serving in the Air Force is important to me because it gives me a sense of accomplishment; knowing that I am part of a select few that have chosen to serve.

What accomplishment during your Air Force career are you most proud of?
There is no accomplishment that I more proud of than graduating from Basic Military Training.

What are your personal and/or professional goals?

One of my personal goals is to complete my degree. My professional goal is to be promoted to Master Sgt in 2013.

What is your favorite part of your job?
Listening to our Airmen talk about being deployed is something I really enjoy. It is astonishing how many of them want to deploy.

As a parent it is quite natural for me to say how very proud I am that my son serves the US Air Force. But I can also say that knowing Tech Sgt Nicaise as a person and watching him grow into manhood with an unbiased opinion that he has always strived to achieve the best he is able to do in every aspect of his life. He takes pride in himself and his work and is very proud to be serving his country in the United States Air Force. God Bless all who serve to keep us free.
