The installation commander determines participation which may include active duty, full time Guardsmen and Reservists assigned to base units, adult family members (18 years or older), Department of Defense (DoD) civilians (including NAF employees), base contract personnel, and active duty foreign nationals. Active duty military personnel always have first priority in intramural sports participation (follow eligibility criteria established in AFI 34-262). Other categories of customers may participate in the intramural program if their participation is needed to offer a particular program.
