  • 351st EARS hosts students, teachers for KC-135 tour

    The 351st Expeditionary Air Refueling Squadron hosted elementary and middle school students for a KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft tour, at Morón Air Base, Spain, Feb. 26, 2021. The tour enabled the 351st EARS to showcase KC-135 capabilities and highlight the Airmen who ensure Operation Juniper Micron success.
  • 100th ARW enables the fight

    The 100th Air Refueling Wing enabled the flight operations of a U.S. Air Force B-1B Lancer aircraft assigned to the 7th Bomb Wing, Dyess Air Force Base, Texas, over the North Sea March 3, 2021. The wing is the only permanent aerial refueling unit in Europe and Africa, and thus it supports flight operations for U.S. Air Force, allied and partner-nation aircraft.
  • 488th IS opens language-learning facility to tri-base Airmen, civilians

    The 488th Intelligence Squadron recently opened its Language Learning Facility to Airmen and civilians in the tri-base area, in order to help others develop and learn language skills. Until recently, the 488th IS at Royal Air Force Mildenhall used its Language Learning Center to specifically grow linguists within the 488th IS and the 95th Reconnaissance Squadron. However, in order to share the knowledge and expertise, their facility is now open to both military and civilians at RAF Mildenhall, RAF Lakenheath and RAF Feltwell.
  • 100th ARW conducts first EUCOM KC-135 rapid refuel

    The 100th Air Refueling Wing brought a new capability to the Europe Command’s Area of Responsibility with the first rapid refuel on February 26, 2021.
  • ‘Lightbulb moment,’ passion for aircraft gives opportunity to reenergize nose art heritage of 100th BG

    Squadrons at Royal Air Force Mildenhall will begin “adopting” 100th Air Refueling Wing KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft with heritage nose art, in an effort to reconnect with 100th Bombardment Group history. Each piece of nose art is based on World War II nose art on aircraft from the 100th BG, formerly at Thorpe Abbotts, Norfolk, England.
  • 100 ARW supports USAFE CJADC2 Demonstration

    U.S. Air Force F-15E Strike Eagle and F-15C Eagle aircraft, assigned to the 48th Fighter Wing, Royal Air Force Lakenheath, England, were refueled by a KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft from the 100th Air Refueling Wing, RAF Mildenhall, England, during the Combined Joint All-Domain Command and Control demonstration off the Swedish coast, Feb. 25, 2021.
  • Sharpening the edge: 100th OG enhances teamwork through competition

    The 100th Operations Group hosted the semi-annual Tanker Heist competition at Royal Air Force Mildenhall, Feb. 11-16. Tanker Heist is a semi-annual readiness competition focused on testing and pushing the boundaries of aircrew knowledge and proficiency in a KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft flight simulator and Boom Operator Weapon System Trainer.
  • USAFE to CENTCOM, 100th ARW Airmen provide vital DoD support

    Airmen from the Bloody Hundredth returned home from a deployment to support U.S. Central Command forces involved in Operation Octave Quartz Feb. 1, 2021, at Royal Air Force Mildenhall, England. Airmen from the Bloody Hundredth provided vital support for the movement of Department of Defense assets including the relocation of U.S. forces in Somalia. During the deployment, 100th Air Refueling Wing aircraft and Airmen offloaded 2.29 million pounds of fuel to 228 receivers and conducted more than 47 missions for a total of 258.8 hours.
