Post office holiday hours and information announced

RAF MILDENHALL, England --  The post office here announced information pertaining to holiday package mailing and parcel pick up. But for those engaging in the last minute shopping craze, there's still a little time to get those gifts to loved ones.

Outbound mailing (financial services) will be open Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30p.m. It will be open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays, and closed Sundays.

Parcel pick up window is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays from now through Dec. 23. They will be open on Christmas Eve from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Normal hours of operation will resume Dec. 28.

To ensure packages arrive before Christmas, the deadlines are as follows:
- First Class/Priority mail - Dec. 10
- Express mail- Dec. 17

The post office will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
