The 100th Force Support Squadron strives to link RAF Mildenhall Airmen with local businesses through their Commercial Sponsorship Program.

Offering a variety of possibilities for commercial sponsorship and community relations, the 100th FSS seeks to expand morale, welfare and recreation programs to more than 4,000 military and civilians working at RAF Mildenhall.

According to the RAF Mildenhall Fiscal Year 2010 Economic Impact Statement, military personnel stationed here contributed nearly $111 million to the economy last year. U.S. civilian employees spent $14.4 million and local-national employees spent about $44.2 million.

The 100th FSS is one link between base personnel and the economy.

"Everyone at RAF Mildenhall is exposed to the force support squadron," said Christy Kenady, 100th FSS commercial sponsorship and advertising coordinator. "It's the life center of the base community."

The 100th FSS is comprised of several facilities and programs including the Galaxy Club; bowling center; fitness and sports centers;Information, Tickets and Travel; the Bob Hope Community Center; arts and crafts complex; auto hobby complex; child development center; youth programs; and other recreational and support programs.

Within each of these facilities, the 100th FSS contributes to the Air Force mission to enhance quality of life by providing a variety of ongoing programs, events and activities, said Kenady.
