Pre-Separation Counseling (Separating Members & Retiring Members) Tuesday, April 5, 12, 19, 26; 1 - 2:30 pm This mandatory counseling is for retirees, up to 2 years from retirement and separatees up to 1 year prior to separation. All active-duty personnel separating or retiring must complete DD Form 2648, no later than 90 days before the date of separation. Pre-Separation is a prerequisite for registration for the TAP seminar. Sponsorship Training Wednesday, April 6; 2 - 3 pm Congratulations you have just been appointed to be a sponsor! Transition Assistance Program (TAP) Workshop April 18 - 21; 8 am - 4:30 pm If you are within one year of your separation or two years of retirement, prepare now for your transition by attending the TAP Workshop. Information presented helps separating/retiring service members and their families prepare for civilian lifestyle. The workshop provides information on job search methods, networking, writing effective resumes and cover letters, and proper interviewing techniques. Spouses are highly encouraged to attend.
