Senior Airman Trasy Rincan, 100th Security Forces Squadron Pass and Registration Clerk, finished Team Mildenhall's half marathon with a time of 1:38.06

Q: What was your goal for the race?

A: Honestly, I looked at this race to help me for the UK Regional's in October...and to have fun.

Q: What was your previous PR?

A: 2:02:58 which was my first run in Southwest Asia back in October of 2007.

Q: What did you learn from this race?

A: I learned a lot! I learned that I can push myself so much harder next time, and that there is always room for improvement---most definitely!

Q: What was the best part of the race?

A: The pink ribbons I loved so much that I wore in my hair thanks to Tech. Sgt Angel Rios.
Q: Would you do it again?

A: Yes, I definitely want to do it again. Running is my passion. I want to do a full marathon next year.

Q: What inspired you to run the half marathon?

A: I think my parents have. They always have believed in me. Also, my son is and inspiration ... and God!

Q: What have you done in the past that led you to run this?

A: I have ran about six times a week and weight trained intensely as well as playing other sports leisurely.

Q: What are you plans after this?

A: I want to compete in the UK Regional's in October and place well enough to go to the USAFE run held in Poland. If possible, I want to make the All Air Force Cross Country Team. They compete next February. Anything is possible.

Q: Did you achieve your goal?

A: Well when I ran this race I wanted to get under 1 hour 45 minutes and I did! I could not do it without my GPS.

Q: Anything else?

A: I'm so grateful to have a beautiful son, wonderful family and friends, and to have God in my life. Without them, I would not be where I am at today. I love them so much.
