The 100th Air Refueling Wing Public Affairs office is standing up an online video section on its public Web site that will help the wing better document the Airmen, events and history here.

The section, which will be titled, "Mission in Motion", will promote broader coverage by moving the shop's videography section into internal information, according to Senior Airman Heather Stidham, 100th ARW videographer.

"Internal information puts together articles and photos of the base's people, missions and events and posts them on the public Web site," she said. "'Mission in Motion' should add a third dimension to the site. I'm looking forward to getting out there and putting together video spots that hopefully will enhance the current products and attract more people to the site."

"The great thing about video is it can show people what articles only tell them," Airman Stidham said. "If a picture is worth a thousand words, how much is a one-minute video worth?"

Video products will augment articles much like photography and graphics do now, and will cover everything from a community clean-up projects and sports to Airmen performing the mission.

"We're really looking at this as an opportunity to provide the base community with more than they are accustomed to getting," said Geoff Janes, 100th ARW Internal Information chief. "We'll have videos to go with our photos and stories. And, the integration of the two offices means we'll be better equipped and able to serve Team Mildenhall more efficiently than ever before."
