U.S. Airmen assigned to the 100th Air Refueling Wing landed at Cerklje, Slovenia as as part of a United States Armed Forces in Europe partnership mission, Oct. 29, 2021.

Slovenian military officials had the opportunity to get a detailed tour of the KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft and had the chance to sit in the aircraft's boom pod. The U.S. aircrew discussed the purpose of the KC-135’s boom in refueling operations with Slovenian military officials. Joint military exercises like this strengthen partnerships, which help protect the values and interests of the United States in a constantly innovating world.
