U.S. Air Force Col. Gene Jacobus, 100th Air Refueling Wing commander, experienced live-fire training with 100th Civil Engineer Squadron Fire Department firefighters at Royal Air Force Mildenhall, England, July 28, 2022. The commander spent time learning what goes on behind the scenes to protect the base and mission every day. The first-hand experience gave Jacobus a greater insight into how much training and preparation the base firefighters undertake on a regular basis to ensure they are prepared for any emergency.
