100 AMXS Airmen keep on strutting
U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Stephen Lombard, left, from Atlanta, and U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Maverick Jones, from Clanton, Ala., 100th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron crew chiefs, drain hydraulic fluid from of a KC-135 Stratotanker strut Feb. 11, 2014, on RAF Mildenhall, England. The struts on KC-135 landing gear use pressure created by hydraulic fluid compressing air to cushion the aircraft when it lands. Lombard received hands-on experience while Jones ensured they met quality control measures. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Preston Webb/Released)
