  • 100th ARW increases readiness with new KC-135 variant

    The 100th Air Refueling Wing received a new model of a KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft at Royal Air Force Mildenhall, Nov. 24. The 100th ARW is the last active-duty unit in the U.S. Air Force to receive the model, which is known as the Block 45 variant.

  • 100th AMXS supports Air Force's global reach mission

    The 100th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron conducted post-flight maintenance on a KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft at Royal Air Force Mildenhall, Aug. 31.  The squadron supports the Air Force's global reach mission by maintaining KC-135s, which deliver air refueling capability throughout Europe and Africa and provide the critical air refueling “bridge” allowing the expeditionary Air Force to deploy around the globe at a moment’s notice.

  • 100th ARW delivers fuel during agile combat employment exercise

    The 100th Air Refueling Wing conducted an agile combat employment exercise at Royal Air Force Fairford, Sept. 13-16. Airmen demonstrated their ability to provide air refueling capabilities from a location with less support. Exercise High Life and other deployments that utilize agile combat employment concepts ensure forces in Europe are ready to protect and defend partners, allies and U.S. interests at a moment’s notice, and generate lethal combat power should deterrence fail. 
  • 100th ARW fuels B-2 during Bomber Task Force mission

    The 100th Air Refueling Wing refueled a B-2 Spirit aircraft over Europe as part of a Bomber Task Force mission Sept. 8.  The U.S. routinely and visibly demonstrates commitment to allies and partners through the global employment of its military force, which is supported by the wing's ability to provide rapid air refueling support throughout Europe and Africa. The U.S. Air Force is engaged, postured, and ready with credible force to assure, deter, and defend.
  • 100th ARW conducts flyover in support of Ukrainian Independence Day

    The 100th Air Refueling Wing conducted a flyover with a KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft across Kyiv, Ukraine, to celebrate 30 years of Ukrainian independence Aug. 24. The U.S. is committed to Ukrainian sovereignty and territorial integrity. U.S. forces in Europe remain engaged, postured and ready to respond to regional threats as they arise in support of a continent that is whole, free and at peace.

  • 100th ARW refuels German Tornado aircraft over Germany

    A U.S. Air Force KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft assigned to the 100th Air Refueling Wing, Royal Air Force Mildenhall, refueled German air force Tornado aircraft over Germany Aug. 2.  Conducting air refueling training with an ally like Germany improves readiness to respond to threats within the European area of responsibility. Cooperation between the air forces of NATO allies contributes to maintaining a stable security environment.
