Texas Air National Guardsmen train at RAF Mildenhall
Members of the 136th Airlift Wing, Texas Air National Guard, conducted annual vehicle maintenance training with the 100th Logistics Readiness Squadron at RAF Mildenhall July 20 – Aug. 2, 2019. Five guardsmen from different units across Dallas/Fort Worth came to RAF Mildenhall to train on special purpose equipment and upgrade their skill level throughout all of the 100 LRS vehicle maintenance shops.

Airman recounts road from MTI to LRS commander
Most Airmen look back at their basic training experience and remember a variety of things, but most never forget their military training instructor, fortunately for 100th Logistics Readiness Squadron, they have their own personal one keeping the squadron united and effective. Maj. Anthony LaMagna, 100th Logistics Readiness Squadron commander, has experienced many career fields during his nearly two decade career in the Air Force, and all of them have shaped him into the commander he is today.

Air Force One touches down at RAF Mildenhall
Air Force One, carrying President Donald J. Trump and a contingency of White House officials and media members, arrived at RAF Mildenhall for refueling and logistical support Feb. 26, 2019. Air Force One, along with a C-32, known as “Air Force Two” and an E-4B National Airborne Operations Center landed en route to Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam, for the president’s second summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un.

Jets in the air, 100th AMXS put them there
The health of the KC-135 Stratotanker fleet at RAF Mildenhall is of the utmost importance as it is the only air refueling mission in the European and African theaters of military responsibility. Every day, these tankers take to the sky to provide fuel support to not only their U.S. Air Force brethren, but to ally and coalition forces in the hope of mission success.

RAF Mildenhall spouses master resiliency, mindfulness, yoga
A Mindfulness and Resiliency Event, hosted by the Community Support Coordinator for RAF Mildenhall and Key Spouses was held here on Jan. 10. The day began with a presentation on mindfulness and resiliency strategies by MRT-certified spouses, then a restorative yoga session at a yoga studio in Newmarket and finished with English tea and pastries at a tea shop.

AETC command chief visits Team Mildenhall
Chief Master Sgt. Juliet Gudgel, command chief master sergeant of Air Education and Training Command, visited RAF Mildenhall, England, Nov. 14, 2018, to gain insight on what training currently looks like for Airmen. Air Education and Training Command is reimagining how Airmen are developed, through a shift in education, training and capitalization of experiences in a new concept: The Continuum of Learning.
